About Puro Flamenco

Puro Flamenco is under the artistic direction of Alda Escárcega. Born and raised in Santa Barbara she found her love for flamenco right here in her hometown. Alda studied under Antoinette Lopez and Paloma Rios for the majority of her youth. She continues her flamenco education by traveling to Spain and throughout California engaging in masterclasses and workshops to bring back and share with her students.

If you or your child wishes to participate in Old Spanish Days 2025 you
must be registered by the end of September. *No Exceptions*
All new and returning dancers to participate in 1 mandatory registration lesson (excludes ages 3-5)
